I love this shot! It could be a stock photo (in the best possible sense...as in, you could sell it if you weren't planning on including it in an art show).
It could also be the cover of an alt-country record! (Is the term "alt-country" even used anymore?)
I think you're picking up on the not-so-subtle It's a Shame About Ray-ness of the shot.
