So grown up! Wearing little Ugg boots (slippers)?
And Scholastic! I just ordered Margo's first Scholastic book (something about a dragon).
Coincidentally, the Scholastic head office is two doors down from my office, though I ordered the book through daycare. I am tempted to pop in to that building every day--there's a HUGE mural of Clifford to greet you as you walk through the front doors.
Receiving the Scholastic catalogue at school was one of the highlights of my childhood!
The slipper-boots (as she calls them, and indeed they stay indoors) are from H&M, which is conveniently located right next to HMV!
Scholastic is both a blessing and a curse. So many books! Such good prices! And such pressure to buy EVERY MONTH! But so far we've done alright, scoring the first 25 books in the Magic Treehouse series, and the complete Laura Ingalls-Wilder collection.
There wasn't really a feeling to compare to the day that box arrived in class, though, was there? New books!
